My dear little Elodie,
You are three months old today. It is so hard for me to believe that you are turning into a little person with a big personality. You smile now and it is the most wonderful thing...it gives me butterflies. You love your little lamb that grandma Chrissie bought you and snuggle it so tight. You also love to be held facing outward now so that you can look at your surroundings. You sleep through the night most of the time which is a gift beyond gifts and I am thrilled about that.
You know who your mommy and daddy are now and you get super excited when you see us. You laughed for the first time the other day and it was the softest and sweetest little laugh EVER. You absolutely love looking at your mobile and make cooing noises at it. You are finally beginning to like your daddy now, which is much appreciated by him. You are really strong and kick like nobodies business when you are mad.
You went on strike from napping for a few long weeks but have started to snooze during the day again (thank goodness). You still do not appreciate bath time or having your clothes changed but are tolerating diaper changes better now. You also do not care for your car seat much and are not the quietest passenger ever but we are working on that. You continue to sleep in the tiny cocoon thing on your pack-n-play but that is not going to fly much longer because you are 12 lbs and really tall now. You are causing the cocoon to sink. So it is almost crib time and I am dreading that.
You still do not care much for being set down and want to be snuggled pretty much all of the time. You are an excellent snuggler, might I add. Our love for you continues to grow and we are forever thankful you are ours. Happy 3 month birthday my little chubby faced babe!
